It is a career program aimed at helping teenage girls to identify their future goals, to identify the impediments to those goals and to discover ways to overcome those impediments.

This program is comprised of seven sessions that are between 60-75 minutes in length and encourages these girls to engage with each other in role-playing, games of life, and ice-breakers. Girls are chosen based on their involvement with school activities or possible dysfunctional families.

The program is currently being facilitated by three Soroptimist members, two of whom are retired secondary teachers.

We have been much encouraged by how much the girls trust us with their feelings and the challenges they face in today’s society.

We feel that next year, we will be able to offer this program to even more girls here in Whitefish and branch out to other high schools in the valley.
